The biggest shock of the World Cup so far saw Mexico beat Germany 1-0 in a game that seemed like it could only go Germany’s way but Mexico got a famous victory against the World Cup holders. Germany threw everything at Mexico but their goalkeeper Ochca was on fire and then in a great counterattack Lazano scored after some brilliant build up play. The germans were left scratching their heads as to how they got nothing out of this game, but the Mexicans won’t worry too much as they have a fantastic chance of going far in this tournament.

Sweden got off to a great start at this World Cup showing that they don’t need Zaltan to get wins at major tournaments. This win has put Sweden above Germany thanks to Mexico’s win and they will now feel they can play a lot more cautiously in order to get out of this group and possibly even knockout the World Cup holders. South Korea meanwhile were not bad in this game and will feel unlucky they still have a chance and if they and Germany win their next games Group F will become very interesting.
